What about a Garmin 520, please.

520 bundle goes for R5700 - normal price at other outlets.

Been watching closely today hoping for the exact same item .... at a real sale price.

Dont need all that functionality .. but at the right price .....

Looking for a GPS type, wireless, USB charge, handlebar mounted, device that can show my:

- heart rate

- cadence

- speed

- distance traveled

- option to download and view on Google Earth type layout

dont need all the other real time electronic linking etc etc ....  Actually the "25" has the functions I need, but all the sensors and it is close to the 520 in price .....

NOT fixated on Garmin ....

To not go too far off topic feel free to PM me if you have experience of a viable alternative unit for my needs.  THANKS

I guess the bike stand they have is worth it though?

Do others have the one on sale at R490?

If it gets good feedback I'll nip down tomorrow morning.

get it, they work well, although i've a Tork Craft sticker on, but it's exactly the same stand.

have a look here - https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/168671-mechanic-repair-stand/

YES - it is exactly the same as the Tork Stand, at R880 - see post 48 on page three.

I will use it to wash the bike, and it will do the job.

As for working on the bike ... guess it beats crawling on the floor.  But I much prefer my STURDY stand in the garage when working on the bikes.  If you want to buy a sturdy stand, get ready to pay a LOT more though ....

so all considered, not a bad buy.  And YES - a stand is VERY handy !!!!!

I have slapped together a couple of bikes together on my CWC one and it is invaluable
