There is amazing value to be obtained in second hand 26er stuff. A mate of mine who may not have the cashflows for a zootie 29er, broke his 26er frame recently and needed to replace it and decided to go for disk brakes as well. . Got a top aluminum frame, more or less new for R800, Rockshox World Cup fork with lock-out etc - R900, set of top light racing wheels - R1100. It is certainly a buyers market

No-one rides 26 inch bikes anymore.  Kids would rather be seen in a Ford Kuga on a samsung phone than to ride a 26er.  Nothing says "I hate you" more to a teenager than to expect him to ride on a 26er bike.  Even adults find them to jittery in the corners.  Hard tail 26er have been banned from bike parks due to this.

However, I have a service that will dispose of your 26 inch bikes (complete bikes preferred) for a reasonable price.  PM me if you are interested.

PS steel and titanium frames will cost you less, for me to collect and dispose of, than alu and carbon frames.

No chancers......   :whistling: :whistling:
