True, but for now I'll knock away.

Seems like a combination of both the worst points of clips and flats. So like flats, they'll just separate from your feet and smash you in the shins. And like clips, you need to locate your foot correctly (I don't buy that "even if you only connect 1 pin ect..")

Knock them all you like. We all know that as soon as some very popular pro likes them, they gonna become a hot commodity.

Not necessarily. Ritchey pedals aren't exactly flying off the shelves even though Nino Schurter used them. I don't see these footloose pedals being used in anything but dry conditions. The mud shedding capability looks poor at first glance - could be wrong though.

One connect point means your pedals stroke will be waaaay off... Which can't be good for potential injuries.

khayale.... a serious response to a post written in comic sans?

As a pointer, when someone uses that font it is an indication that he has written the post either sarcastically or tongue firmly in cheek... Just in case you missed that unwritten rule.

You don't want to Aru this conversation by attacking when you aren't allowed......

Yes it was, even the quote in your response shows this. Also if you look at my original post, it does not show "edited"

But no worries bru. Its cool, it didnt bother me!!!

Eddy - clearly all you have is a laptop/desktop. Try view this forum on an ipad or android smartphone before running your mouth. "Yes it was" for you. It was not the font for me. Ultimately this is a pointless argument. Have a pleasant night.

My tablet and smartphone shows the font. Shame.

Comic sans is not always seen, depending on your device and settings.

Now put the handbags down ladies. Its only Wednesday after all.

some tips for the makers of the video and marketing team in general...

1)  We need more info on when it works.  According to the video it has all the benefits of clip-less as well as releasing just as easy as flats...  This we know is BS and there naturally is a compromise to both technologies.  So please, tell us how much less "clip-less" effect it has compared to SPD and how much "flat pedal" advantage it has compared to flats.  Does it maintain "clip-less" on rocky uphills?  Pedal stroke analysis / wattbike polar view graph comparison maybe?

2)  What happens when its dirty...  SPD's work reasonably well in a mud-fest.  You might struggle to unclip a bit more at the end of a 5 hour muddy ride, but it hardly ever "clogs up".  These look like the cavity in your shoe will fill up, adversely affecting "clip-in ability" and saddle height.

3)  Weight!!!  We need weight

4)  Dimensions compared to SPD.  Pedal looks thick, meaning that you're more prone to bash it against a rock and secondly you will have to change your seat height when changing between two pedal types...
