I agree with the sentiments about needing a proper woman's TDF. You know what the best part was today, when the three chasers caught Ash's team mate she attacked straight away. I dont care who you are, when you know you are riding against queens of cycling and do that you get mega kudos. If only our men could take a leaf from Ash. Ummm maincheese. Rather roll the dice than settle.

Essentially another GT for the ladies, not just the Giro Rosa. Today is proof that the interest is there from the public. They would ideally want the tour at a different time of year with different sponsors to milk. This can be the only reason, they could run 2 weeks of LaCourse ahead of the men.
