Garmin / GoPro combined out front mount

I have seen a few of these on the interwebs,however I cannot seem to find a LBS in Durban that stocks them. I have seen one on Takealot (Linky) That one however is made of plastic and no way am I entrusting both my Garmin and my GoPro to a plastic thingy from some company I have never heard of.

 

Does anyone know where I can source one of these made of alu in the city of Durban?

I have a K-edge one, works well and is nice and stable.

I don't know where you can get one in Dbn, but I see there are loads of online places.

Well the K-edge is R1100 and the no name brand plastic one is R650. So an extra R450 for peace of mind... Let me think about that.

I use one from ROTOR - metal and solid as a rock.  Bought mine from Evo bikes at around R700 a while back.

 

EVO are out of stock but I'm sure if ping Naas a mail he will tell you if/when they will be available again...

I bought one of these from AliExpress. Looks pretty solid and $19 can't go wrong. Just takes a while to get here, should have mine next week.

I have the Giant one,I think I paid R499 last year, you can get them at the Giant Stores. I have also seen something similar at Good 2 Go at Giba Gorge, was a couple of months ago though.

Have had one of those on my MTB for over a year, no problem with it and cheap!

 

Also have a plastic one more standard garmin out front type which I also bought on aliexpress for the road bike. Very solid even though it is plastic.

If you're not riding on super smooth roads the footage will be terrible , if for safety reasons ( hit and run for ex. ) go for it

All proper mounts cost a fortune, i priced a new style (low fit) garmin mount jeez R950 for a piece of plastic what are they smoking. Ended up buying a enve mount at a similar price and made out of cnc alloy.
