FirstV8 Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 An update on what's happening at the Ekhuruleni Mtb park The first 7k portion of the route was scraped. Tlb was brought in to start work on the berms. Construction trucks been dumping soil to make jumps. Grader has been organised to finish getting the grass out. We just waiting for the ground to dry a bit. Hopefully be sorted before this week is out.In addition to the track, plans for the ABF Village are nearing completion. There is going to be a gym, a bike shop, a coffee shop and a study centre. Heaps of good things to look forward to. Our Ekhuruleni Metro Council and ward councillor, Marius de Vos have been unreal in helping us get this project off the ground. Can't thank them enough.For now, the public is welcome to come and ride. The route is still under construction though, so it's still a bit "gnasty" in places ????We will be calling for community to help as soon as we've graded the route and we need hands.Thanks to all for the positive vibe.

I ride the park run sections and the sections towards the dam and baseball fields - is there any chance temporary route markings can be put up so one can actually know where to ride and where the route is?
