I would second the DMR V12's. Amazing properly flat pedals!!

I have used the KORE Rivera pedals as well as the Giant pedals and the only issue I find with them, and the DMR V8s, is the raised center section which takes away from your grip on the pedal. (That's why I say the V12 is properly flat)

The only pedal I have ridden that beats the V12 for grip are the OneUp Composite pedals...AMAZING!!! Check out TrailTech cycles, you can buy online from them.

I dropped in on this thread after my feet came off the pedals while going over a rock garden. Ouch!

So I was in need of some new flat pedals that would at least give me some confidence and security. I came across the OneUp Composite pedals and bought them straight away. An AMAZING purchase for the price, these pedals perform exceptionally well. I can wholeheartedly recommend these pedals.

Thanks to the sage advice of hubbers I'm now more secure on my bike and today I tackled the same rock garden with a fractured hand (sustained after the initial incident) without any problems.

Thank you hubbers.

I got nukeproof neutron evo. Lost an end cap. Are there local nukeproof guys in Cape Town perhaps?

I'm 99% sure Nukeproof is a CRC brand and only available from them.

I am under the same impression. Sam Hill is pretty much covered head to toe in CRC/Nukeproof branding.

Correct

So.... Can I get them locally... or made perhaps? Or bought perhaps? Or should I just go CRC.

I tried a few nuts and bolts places but nobody could assist.

Not going to start a new thread, so wil carry on with this one.

Does anyone know where I can source composite flats locally that actually have stock? I live in the Pretoria East area, but I am struggling my butt off to get (any flats).

Not too keen on going the importing route, but will if I really have to

Seen them in the flesh, and they're nice. Thin, reasonably light, good wide platform...

Thanx for the reply, I saw the Kore post. I am just a bit worried about the convex shape? I currently have concave cheapy flats. Worked great for about 200km and then it predictably imploded. Really liked the concave shape.

However, I am a noob when it comes to cycling, so keen on getting experienced opinions.
