Um, a bit boring if you ask me for a marathon. District roads were not a lot of fun and there were a lot of them, i can do that on a training ride (a lot of smooth farm track as well). Difficulty, um about 4.5/10 if i compare my hairiest ride being the Van Gaalens marathon about 3 years ago. Only one technical section (really) which was the rocky descent, got stuck behind some guys and sat there for a while. Announcer definitely trying to justify our entries.

I hope the last couple of races in Gauteng are a bit better with more single track.

Any info on when the entries close for next weekends event?

Also could not find info. Best to enter asap. Entries usually fill up before closing date

for batch start times see your seeding email, for general information go to the Trail seeker website

http://www.trailseekerseries.co.za/

Which seems to be down right now. Was working earlier this morning.

Thanks, but I did not receive an email. Only entered on tuesday though. Social media said batch details would be loaded onto the sas seeding website, but there is nothing.

SAS are awesomely slow at doing what they say they will do.

There is a batching link on the SAS site for Participants, but i have only once found the batches on there..... and that was for The Berg and Bush......

If you can find your historic race data on the SAS site, you might be able to deduce your seeding start time. Phone them will possibly work, or go to a number collection venue today if you can is probably the best way to find out when you will start
