I thought the bike was close to the right fit as I had no real discomfort when riding. Turns out my stem was a tad low and long and my saddle slightly too low and far forward. Now everything checks out on that front but the foot pain persists. Hard to say if the numbness is gone as I stopped after 30 minutes because the pain got to me.
