Hi all.

Tried searching on the forum for an answer. No luck such far. I have an Ultegra 6700 crankset with 53-39 chainrings. What are the smallest chainrings available for this crankset?

Thanks guys.

Depends on the BCD of the crank, if is 110 then you can go 50-34, however as you currently have 53-39, I suspect it is 130 BCD, so can't fit smaller chainrings

You can fit a 38T on the inside. I have an Ultegra 6700 crankset (130bcd) and run 52/38.

I used a Sram 38T chainring on the inside with an Shimano 52T on the outside.

You can actually go down to 37T on the inside (according to the internet), though this needs to be custom made as the bolts need to be aligned correctly to avoid chain rub.

You can go smaller on the outside, but this will also be a non-Shimano ring (plus new chainring bolts). Sugino goes down to 48T. Both FSA and Wolftooth go from 38T up to 52T and more! Actually any brand with 130bcd will work. The downside is that it won't 'look' that great given the shape of the Ultegra cranks, hence why I stuck with Shimano on the outside.

I have a Shimano 5800 11-speed crank with 34/50 rings and a 110 bcd. I want to change the 34  for a 39 which usually has a 130 bcd.. I wonder if There is enough material on a 39 130 bcd ring to drill it out to fit the 110 bcd crank. Any ideas?
