Imagine if they can also incorporate Graphene into the mix.

Stronger lighter frames and increased speed to test small tweaks to the frame.

Then again on the scary side, how do you know the print was done by reputable party and not a scammer with insufficient internal support

Bastion Cycles are currently doing some very nice things with 3D printed technologies currently available.

We should use technologies where they make sense, not try to force 3D printing into areas where they can't compete.

It is all well if you can print an entire 29er Frame, in Titanium for example. It would be a massive technological achievement, but is that really going to make commercial sense?

I like this idea. In the next 5-10 years we will see home printed bikes become more mainstream probably. All you need to do is download the latest diagram from your fav bike brand and just print yourself a frame.

I would much rather spend 80k on buying a printer and have unlimited supply of frames than to buy a single bike. Just my 2c

Hmmm

Many people have problems simply printing normal prints on a normal printer, and these printers have been around for many years.....

You go ahead and print your own frames, I’ll sit back and watch ????

Don’t forget the GoPro

Hey .. no one said it was going to last :P

At least when it breaks you just print another. If you look at the printing scene the 1st printer wasn't even commercially available and there were already blueprints on how to print a gun... Even though it lasted only 1 or 2 shots it was still available :P
