You get different Rib Cages.  There is the one with the rubber thingy keeping the ribs together and the newer one with out it.  There is also a MTB version, wider with more ribs.   Which one did you have spidy?

Carbon bottle cages are for posers. If you want a cage that won't drop a bottle, get Bontrager's plastic cage.

Jules you didnt ride sabie experience last year did you???? the bontrager plastic cages only hold onto the bontrager bottles in extreme conditions ask grant from just fun (the importers of trek and bontrager) he has lost quite a few bottles in the past few months

in short bontrager cages look great but only function well on the road bike

You are right: I didn't ride Sabie X. And I usually use Bontrager bottles with the Bontrager cages. Didn't grant do this?

Care to suggest a better bottle cage? I have yet to find one, but I don't deny that it might exist.

Hi all..

So my one carbon cage popped over the weekend.

Loved them but I cannot get the same ones again.....

I had the Specialized carbon look-a-likes that can bend and twist on before but the bottles are not secure enough and I have lost one or two already.  Confused  Not good.

So......for the road bike........what looks cool' date=' doesn't cost an arm and a leg and is functional and light.....??

Daai rooi goed wat Barend het. Kyk bietjie die naweek. Ook Specialized, maar dis die nuwes. Daai cages pas verseker die beste by ons frames. Hoor by Petri, maar ek dink nie dis baie duur nie. Thumbs%20Up

Specialized Rib Cage Pro. Nie 100% seker, maar dink hulle is onder R150, lig en durable (not too mention FLASHY). Problem solved.
