Me being a giant man and i have thrown my anthem down all the trails i can find if i were in your shoes i would probably go for the spez. But i would ride both on the same trail one of after the other and i am sure it would be obvious which one is your choice.

I ride a Trance Advanced (current gen) and borrowed an Anthem 1 (the alu one with carbon wheels) for the Houw Hoek Tour. Can honestly say, bar the dropper post missing, it smashed everything and powered up the climbs incredibly well, but really surprised on the DH's with the geo being spot on. I'd shorten the stem 10mm and add a dropper and wouldn't look back.
