Ramrod Posted August 1, 2018 Share I used them a while back. Bought some look x track pedals and got 2 sets before the local guys even had. Shipped and received no problems. nonky
JohanDiv Posted June 25, 2019 Share Revive... Ramrod, how long did shipping take and who do they use? I jumped on 2x 2019 Assos Equipe RS S9 bibs for R2500 each from them last week. Now I'm worried I was too quick on the trigger. No details on shipping and they're not replying on my email from a few days ago.

EVOBIKES ONLINE STORE Posted June 25, 2019 Share clothing has 40% duty I think ? price may end up being very similar to SA price.Yip that is correct So landed cost will be. R2500 + (40% of R2500 = R1000). Customs Vat calculated on R2500 plus 10% of R2500 plus R1000 duty = R4312.50 excl shipping and clearing costs... So yes - locally available for R4495... https://www.evobikes.co.za/apparel/cycling-shorts/assos-equipe-rs-s9-bib-shorts-with-pad.html Andrew Steer, Rudi33, nonky and 1 other

I was working on the 40% extra and happy to pay R3500 a pair, but didn't take into account that extra 10%. Ah well, learn something new everyday. nonky

Do you mind dropping one of your 10% discounts on the following for me? https://www.evobikes.co.za/shimano-xtr-12-speed-upgrade-kit-with-sunrace-cassette.html
Veebee Posted June 25, 2019 Share And get to support a good local business and enjoy the proper back up and support down the line... yeah for sure.I was looking to get a Kask Vallegro from ciclimattio, but after looking at the prices + vat + shipping + doc fee's, the local price is r100 more from a few LBS's. Organic Posted June 25, 2019 Share So landed cost will be. R2500 + (40% of R2500 = R1000). Customs Vat calculated on R2500 plus 10% of R2500 plus R1000 duty = R4312.50 excl shipping and clearing costs... My experience is that the extra 10% is only used for VAT calculations, and is not added to the final price. So, according to my calculations: Duties: R2500 * 0.4 = R1000 VAT: (R2500 + R1000 + R250) * 0.15 = R562.50 (R250 = 10% of R2500) Total: R2500 + R1000 + R562.50 = R4062.5 Still not as much of a bargain as it looked to start off with, but may be worthwhile. You can find a calculator here: https://tradelogistics.co.za/tools/calculators/vat-duty-calculation/ JohanDiv
