The trick is to make sure you fill out ALL the fields. Otherwise it won't work. And then you need to wait for a moderator to activate your account.

I did fill in all the fields. There is no trick to it

Anyway I am pleased.Dont want to join.Generally I find most 4 x 4 campers noisy, over the top and obtrusive and steer clear of them in the bush

We once wild-camped along the Lower Orange, all alone, heaven. Then, late afternoon a 10 strong convoy appeared out of the mountains and made right for our spot - the only level place in that rugged kloof. My heart sank because I knew we were in for a rowdy night of drinking and loud talk, maybe even Bles Bridges music...........they turned out to be a group of Defenders. They came over to apologize for messing up our solitude and asked if they could share our camp for the night, the next place being at least a few hours drive away and with the sun disappearing fast! They pitched camp in a jiffy, made small fires and were asleep shortly after 8pm. At first light they stirred and an hour later were packed and politely said good bye, leaving us a bag of fire wood and a freshly baked bread. They didn't even leave oil stains behind! Landy drivers, I tell you! I can share the bundu with most of them.

For me there are a lot of similarities between the Bikehub and 4x4 forum. Like them both. Also active on Cycadfriends.
