They're a funny lot, not like us. 

A case in illustration:  The Merseyside Police Commissioner Emily Spurrell in 2022 installed thirty three 360° cameras in the streets around Anfield.  This was as part of the Violence Against Women and Girls Delivery Plan to combat domestic violence.  Liverpool fans apparently did not have the self control to wait until they got home before battering their loved ones.  If idiots could fly Anfield would have its own airport.

Inbreeding is reportedly almost as bad as Bradford and Norfolk towns.  Channel 5's 5Star considered making a CSI: Liverpool series.  They soon realised it was impossible because everyone has the same DNA and nobody there has any teeth.

I see the other side here. His agent apparently been working with Madrid for nigh on 2years to put a deal together. He was talking to Madrid while promising his future to Liverpool and wanted to be captain. ( what he was saying ) had numerous opportunities to re sign but chose not to and instead run down his contract and leave on a free. Ensuring a higher wage at Madrid and saving them money too. For a lad who has spent his entire life at Liverpool and the club that gave him everything maybe a modicum of loyalty is deserved. The trophies won are a straw argument. 
 

Liverpool erred too, they should have sold him a year ago. 

I understand the fans viewpoint on this. They feel cheated and like a jilted lover. 

but, roll on the silly final tonight and next season. 
 

Farnborough FC have significantly jacked up their platinum lounge ticket prices. That’s a stab in the back. As loyal supporter I should have been given a discounted price. Now more expensive than a season ticket at saints. 😢

Aldershot hospitality now through the roof, win a cup and suddenly you bum don’t stink and charge what you like. My mates son normally gets a season ticket, went from 90 to 300. Just like that. 
 

next season I will pay as I go kind of thing. Support Guildford city too a bit. They only 8 quid a game and normally get around 200 at the gate. Football is not all like the romantics will have you believe.

I agree that Liverpool should have sold him while they had the chance. Players are only obligated to a club for the period they are contracted. So if his agents were negotiating, then a move was on the cards and the club missed out on selling the player... tough cookies!

It's a pity that bums on seats is becoming less and less of a priority. I fear the americanisation of the beautiful game is increasing the commercial priorities, and then I wonder if there will still be a place for real, authentic fans.
