So a bit of Serie A drama

And to understand the drama you need to understand the top brass at Napoli.

They have 2 players who tested positive and a staff member as well as a few injuries, Juve have 2 staff members (not directly involved with the team). Now Juve are set to play Napoli tonight in Turin.

Late last night a "report" unconfirmed came out that the local government (Napoli) had blocked Napoli from travelling to Turin.. not long after Juve released a statement that the Juve First team would take to the field as planned.

So it turned out the Health department did not prohibited Napoli from travelling to Turin but the owner of Napoli made the call he also tried to pressure the local health department to block Napoli from travelling.. the Health department did release a statement that they had not prohibited Napoli from travelling.

Serie A have since confirmed that the game is to go ahead as scheduled.

As of now Napoli have not yet travelled and if they don't pitch up by 20:30 tonight they would forfeit the game and be handed a 3 goal loss. So until authorities postpone the game we will be on the pitch tonight.

And somehow this is Juve's fault[emoji2368] Juve do not have the authority to postpone games.. I know its hard for people to believe but Juve do not have that kind of authority. Plus we need to play these tricky games early in the season esp under a new coach and system.

Yeah, this is an interesting one to watch. Although, it’s sometimes very difficult for clubs to remain competitive, the rules are the rules!

Ancelotti is building something special.

Everton are really looking like a team on fire! I was so hoping that Spurs would have made an approach for Moise Kean... Anyway, I’m very happy for Ancelotti

Yeah and according to the guidelines set out just this week which teams etc agreed to Napoli have to take to the pitch and don't have any Covid grounds to request the game be postponed.

The Genoa-Torino game was postponed because Genoa could not field a team as they have something like 17 postive cases. Currently if you can field 13 players plus an extra keeper you can play...teams also do a fast track test 4 hrs before the game.

It's tricky but under the current guidlines Napoli either take to the pitch or forfeit the game.

James Rodriguez is having an absolute blast under Ancelotti.

It’s also Everton’s best start to a season for over 100 years.

And James Rodriguez has fitted in perfectly. Good luck to them

I hope I’m not the only one watching Spurs (1-5) put the fire out for the Red Devils.... COYS [emoji1434]

Well played Jose Mourinho and Spurs... I wonder if Spurs can continue like this once they start playing one game per week again, or should they be forced to play 3-4 games per week, lol

First time in the history of the Premier League that ManU have conceded 4 goals in the first half at Old Trafford.

Well Juve have arrived at the stadium gates are open..

According to the rules a team has to take to the field and spend the entire first half, referee in attendance on the field before the game is officially forfeited by Napoli.. what n gemors... until now there has been no official announcement that the game will be postponed.

Transfer deadline day and some interesting movements yesterday and today.

Moise joins PSG on loan.. I think this a very good for his development as there will probably be more playing opportunities for the youngster[emoji106]

Cavani to United.. amazing striker slightly injury prone in his latter years but it still won't fix their defense..so its weird

If Dembele goes to Units (far from done United want a loan..Barca want a sale) Depay will join Barca as La Liga rules state players have to go before others can arrive.

Douglas Costa to Bayern on loan with Chiesa going to Juve on loan. ..Chiesa has been a target for 2 years now... I love Dougie, do even though understand..it still makes me sad. [emoji26]

I'd give Juve a thumbs up this transfer market.. it was always going to be a weird transfer market seeing many loans because of the financial implications due to massive revenue losses due to the pandemic.. midfield and forward area that needed addressing have been addressed all while reducing wages as well as age of the squad....
