Frame the same as 2018 - which is good as they are not messing with a winning formula.New Lefty getting rave reviews. Some of the new 2019 Scalpels already here.

AllAboutRides Posted October 16, 2018 Author Posted October 16, 2018 Ahh - okay. When they expecting it? Not sure, no one can actually give me that answer
Spinnekop Posted October 16, 2018 Posted October 16, 2018 5 or 6 rides done on mine already.Lefty is as smooth as butter. Love it. HG wheels is new to me but thus far no issues. They have been proven in the field previously so I doubt I'll have any issues. In love with my bike at the moment.
Spinnekop Posted October 16, 2018 Posted October 16, 2018 Ahh - okay. When they expecting it?I heard birds whistle that if the seven seas are not too rough and customs are on the ball and the wind goes in the correct direction, then there might be arriving before the end of the month. But don't quote me.Only rumors.

Scalpel Posted October 16, 2018 Posted October 16, 2018 New Lefty is really buttersmooth as Spinnekop said. The Hollowgram wheels have been around for a few years on some Scalpels. Proven. No issues as far as I know. Spec on the Scalpel 1 is great. High Mod frame. Carbon Lefty. SRAM Eagle. Spinnekop has the Scalpel 3 2019.
stringbean Posted October 16, 2018 Posted October 16, 2018 Absolutely love mine.Cannondale took note of upgrades that individuals were making and did them to the 2019 models.Fox shock at the back.Cable lock out which are far more reliable than hydraulic.Normal steerer tube so normal stem now.Lefty feels lot smoother and front end of bike feels lighter( in a good way)I bought the 4 and just transferred my parts across Hi mod frame is lighter BUT a painted hi mod frame is the same weight as a unpainted normal frame.Don’t count out the lower spec bikes( like the 4) and upgrade them to your personal preferences.Might end up better and cheaper.10.4kg before anyone asks.

I was after the wheels. 10.4 is lekke.I am at 11 at the moment. But the seatpost is very long. Have to agree. Two very cool "upgrades" are the cable lockout and the use of a normal stem. Immediately went 10mm longer.Also.....you can now easily go negative angle on the stem
Spinnekop Posted October 16, 2018 Posted October 16, 2018 Which one do you have and do you have the new ocho lefty?Went for the 3.Was after the HG wheelset. I am not disappointed at all! Ocho yes.

That doesn't look and sound bad at all. I think the only difference is that Scapel 1 and WC comes with carbon fork?
