weight just below 50kg.

Hence the need for a light bike.

She had an alu MTB, sold it after it hung in the garage for 3 years.

Pity

I have a xs silverback frame (27.5, aluminium) looking for a new owner

Good luck with the search.

Local agents don't bring in a lot of xs frames try dragons/giant they were the only ones able to get my wife a xs dual suss (anthem advanced)

True, we only work with Ti, which is much lighter than Steel, as well as Alu.

Your welcome to send a PM for some more info on a custom project.

I was thinking about that, but a reynolds 853 is going to be heavy

You need to think wheels and fork rather than frame.

My daughter has an aluminium Titan 15" 650B that now weighs 9.6kg. Thanks to american classic race wheels and a fox fork.

Lost 1.4kg in the rear wheel alone. Another 1kg in the fork
