With the Morewood Zula 26" frames would a lady 1.78m tall be better suited for a large or medium sized frame?

Don't really know, I would say a M for a 1.78m lady

For what its worth...

I'm 1.86m and ride a large Zula, Mr Morewood himself said the L is ok for me (tested it at his factory in PMB). But tbh a XL probably would have been a better fit for me... seat post is really long to accommodate my leg length

My wife rides a medium Zula - or at least we think its a medium and she's about 1.7 m. She runs a 50mm stem slammed to get the bars low enough.

what is the current reach on her bicycle ... compare this to the Zula and you will get a better idea.

I am 1.78m tall and have tried both the medium and large 26'er Zula's .... the large was a better fit for me.

I'm 1.73m and had a medium Zula and it was on the small side of the spectrum. It was definitely lower than my other bike and the TT was quite short. I'd say go for the Large. Best is to actually go and try it to see.

No bike currently, that would ideally be the best starting point.

That geo data looks seriously old school by today's standards does it not

The short top tube, definitely, but the head angle was actually on the slacker side for an xc bike of that time.
