Boost conversion kit

The MRP ones don’t need a reddish on the front. Not sure on the back though.

“The Better Boost Adapter Kit consists of two precisely machined end caps and a brake spacer* (and requisite bolts), and it requires NO DISHING“

you'll ALWAYS need a re-dish on the back. No getting away from it. This is because you can't put a spacer on the drive side, as it'd interfere with the RD / cassette alignment.

Ay boost conversion kit using two end caps won't require re-dishing of the rim. I think Wolftooth also makes such kits as does Hope?

Just to add to this thread.

I recently went to a boost frame - I run EVO PRO 2 rear hub. I emailed HOPE they told me to use their boost kit P/No HUB493, which boosts the EVO PRO 2 and PRO 4 without the need to dish the wheel.

Managed to get one from Sprocket and Jack and fitted it last night.

It works perfect, only small adjustment is to re-set the limit screws on the RD (running GX Eagel 1 X 12 cassette) Wheel is perfectly centered.

It comes with inserts for both the drive and non-drive side - 2 X 1.5 mm rotor spacers with longer screws (I used both) - a 2mm spacer (only to be used if you have a hope freehub and hope cassette) so not used in my case

I have also purchased this product , does your end camp on the drive  side (silver end cape) fall off or is it snug fit ?

I concede, that I was incorrect wrt the need to redish a wheel when using Hope's own conversion kit. Suppose there's enough margin in the limit screws to accommodate the inward shift of the cassette.

Will definitely note that for future builds!

On my GX Eagle the limit screws needed 1 to 1.5 turns to line up by eye, havn't ridden it yet so maybe a bit more tweeking but certainly more than enough margin.

That's the one I'm using on my hopes with the new frame and works a treat. No dishing needed and cheap as chips. Well done Pommies!
