Yeah!

 

Last year I made a wrong turn on the monster decent and bombed down what I can only assume was an ancient hiking trail. That was me stuffed for the rest of the race...

The wrong turn in particular, don't do it! 

So did I and another lady rider. We realised our mistake after about a few hundred metres and turned around. Markings were poor at this spot. But I tend to end up at the back anyway. Not doing it this year.

The 15km was a really fun ride. Fingers and shoulders are a bit sore. First race.

Lost my Garmin 510 just after wp2 on the 70km ( downhill after monster climb ).

 

If anyone found one, or know of someone who did, please let me know.

The 1/2 marathon race was a bit of a dissapointment this year, in order to change the route or adding more distance by just cutting grass in a field leaving you to ride on the "graspolle" is not fun.

Then they give you 38km to ride and i only prepared for 33km  .

 

Waterpoints was also below par as per previous years.(was my 4th Monster).

 

But will do at least one more to get to that 5 timer accolade
