But If I buy a fork, I usually ask the seller to provide me with proof of the last service, or alternatively ask him/her to take the fork in for a air chamber service at a reputable bike shop(that I will pay for), just to confirm everything is ok with the internals.

Agreed, a 1 post wonder vouching for a seller.I feel if you need to ask this question then just forget about the fork, unless there is a hubber who can go and look at it personally.......

Best advice this. Not just because the seller is a new member, but also because this is what you do when you buy a used fork! Get an independent shop to give it a once over, then facilitate the transaction while they're at it. Given that they made something from the service they'll probably be happy to oblige.
V12man Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 Ask him to take it to Droo - then Droo can inspect (and you can pay the seller) and ship it up to you - he is legit and knows how to ship them too - don't forget to pay him for the service and shipping.

His name is Campbell Van Der merwe. Go facebook him. Or even instagram. His forks were serviced by a rockshox agent as far as I can remember. I understand the scam **** going on but you gents can always speak on whatsapp and get a better Guage on the seller. Feel free to message me if you want more info on him. Happy trails
