4 powerful batsmen to follow... They need to start taking risks now

And which batsmen are those?

I watch and cringe every time we scratch and fumble our way to a mediocre total

3 of them is Rassie

last spot is purely for inclusiveness purposes, because honestly, Rassie is all of them.

250 if we are lucky. We are so far off the standard and pace of the other top teams its frightening

How did we prepare so poorly?

Poor leadership in the team as well as the coaching team.

That one bowler costza the match. Pure an simple. Not sure how he became a protea. Terrible

For the rest, thought the team did well an should have won but for the one bowler who was shoddy v

No idea why Faf would put him in to bowl that last over, mind boggling and then they whole conference to decide how to set up the field.[emoji849]

I do not think he had a choice, it was the only bowler left who has not yet completed his allocation of overs i.e. badly managed.  It came down to poor captaincy, lack of leadership, choking in the field and poor decision making.

Faf's post game interview supports this to a large degree.  If you listen/read it it seems he was at a different game.

All, and all, really a poor show and not reflective of what we as a country should be putting on the world stage.

Yup. Faf is in complete denial about his team's performance. And he did not even seem to know about that missed opportunity for a dismissal had QdK appealed. And you simply do not bowl full tosses in the last few overs. This team's fielding is so far below par, that had I showed this match to myself 20 years ago I would not have believed I was watching an SA team.
