Ricky6 Posted June 13, 2019 Share Hi guys, I am a newbie and looking to purchase a second hand indoor trainer. Nothing too technical. I have my eye on either a Giant Cyclotron or a CycleOps Fluid. Any recommendations or are these pretty much the same. Thanks.

shaper Posted June 13, 2019 Share If you ever decide to move onto zwift with your training/spinning, make sure whichever trainer you choose is compatible with their list https://zwift.com/hardware Giant Cyclotron is if one of the ones listed and you will have to go the Cycleops fluid2. Of the two, i would go the fluid2 BicyclePower
BicyclePower Posted June 13, 2019 Share Consider the Fluid with speed sensor, this is R3 995.00 and i think we have 1 unit left in stock. As explained in previous posts the trainer will not automatically adjust resistance however will give you a power reading. this is the basis for measuring improvements.
