Lyne Bottle Cage

mine also chew up my camelback bottles a bit but more a case of removing the branding and scratching due to dirt etc..especially the way/angle I have to take them out from under my frame bags.

Otherwise they do their job very well..For how easy the bottles slip in and out, i'm amazed that they have never fallen out on rocky descents. the past two races we dit there were some sections that looked like the water/tool bottle departments of some bike shops haha

I have the Lyne side entry cages on my Mtb, and the normal cages on my road bike. No damage to any of my bottles, from my Camelbak bottles to the cheapest of "racepack" bottles.

Very happy with their bottle retention capabilities.

some sharp edges, you will get that from quite a few plastic cages. Just use a piece of fine sand paper and smooth the edges

Yes, I realize that there is a pretty easy fix.  I guess I was just not expecting this the way everyone raves about the Lyne products.

Not sure what response you were expecting, I'd give Lyne Components a call, they super nice okes, and their products are definitely worthwhile raving about.

As stated above i have a few of their cages and do not have those issues, mind you i do have another brand name cage that has those "sharp" edges and as stated nothing a light sand didn't fix.
