Emails do play a part of being aware of events. I know about Mooreesburg's Swartland MTB this Saturday purely by word of mouth. 

 

Did not even know about that one - so much for marketing.. The old Swartland race used to be one of my favourite races, does this one also go over Koringberg?

Yes, this is essentially Koringberg but from the other side, you ride out of Moorreesburg, up Korningberg and then back to Moorreesburg with a couple mile filler farm loops.

Skipping this one because those fields will be awfully muddy after the rain later this week and I would like an option of just going up Koringberg and coming back, skipping mile filler. 

 

But, the bottom line still is that organisers are not marketing well enough and not picking dates with no other rides on them.

That is really sad. All the time and effort that goes into planning and running the event for a turn out like that hardly seems worth it.

Awesome - will put this one on my calendar for next year.

Let hope that WPCycling use this event next year for their XCm series and not Fedhealth MTB

The N7 track challenge is this weekend as well. At Kardoesie near Citrusdal.
