UP the Jammie Steps  :eek: I'm used to diving DOWN that, but NEVER even THOUGHT of going UP that way..........will have to go give it a try later.

 

But glad to see them walking up the bloody Quarry Climb (my worst)

To be fair the route has become easier every year. I am not sitting behind my keyboard saying that. The winning daily times have come down every year consistently. The whole race is now only 650 odd kilometers long. Over 8 days.

Just had a team pick up an entry for free as countries put full travel bans and Epic has zero refund. So they spent the money on a campervan for the week to try avoid the Europeans.

if you're a germophobe/paranoid/pessimist etc etc then you probably see this as a perfect storm of EPIC proportions brewing.

I would not be suprised if a BUCKETLOAD of entries come online last minute.

This is becoming a real possibility. I've just had my wings clipped. Berlin, London, and Wickcliffe all put on hold :(
