Good Day Hubbers

Hope you all having a good week.

Quick question, why when most people are selling a bike, do they not include pedals? I am just intrigued to understand.

Thank you

Most new bikes are sold without pedals, so as to allow for the owner to fit the pedals of his choice. There are several types that are not interchangeable. Most people then simply transfer their old ones to the new bike.

Often people also keep their own saddle because it is comfortable, but then they mostly put another saddle on. Often it is what the bike was bought with, and not very nice and comfortable.

I have ridden LOOK ever since those old delta. I currently have keo carbon blade 1 on my tandem and blade 2 on my road bike. I love them.

My other half runs looks and I'm getting new shoes so it's as good a time as any to change. I want us running the same pedals so if we do hit trouble say 10km from home I can jump on her bike and foot it home to get the car or visa versa.

I'll give my old shoes and pedals to Hout Bay Cycling club. They are still in perfect working order. I'm sure there's a kid with midget feet who would want some silver riding shoes.
