Schmorglebot Posted November 7, 2019 Share Hmm, I'll bite. Ordered two Pirelli 4S tyres from Evobikes (they were slightly cheaper for 23mm size than Bikemob, 25mm is just too close for comfort on my frame). Had a sidewall cut this weekend on a GP5000, due to a small rock I didn't see in the bunch. Only my third race with them. Bye R900... My condolences. It's never nice to lose a tyre that still has plenty of life left in it DieselnDust

daveno7 Posted January 25, 2020 Share After many faithful years of buying GP4000s on Black Friday, riding them for the year, rinsing and repeating. Sadly it looks like Chris Willemse no longer stock my beloved tyre instead opting for the new GP5000 which is sadly pushing the limits of my tyre budget. Was it just wishful thinking to expect the GP4000 to stick around for a little longer? Anyone have any leads on GP4000s at a reasonable price or is it truly the end of an era?trying myself to get another pair...glorious tyre...
