I am trying to get my hands on a Qhubeka bike for a gift, and they are fresh outta bikes.

Ironically components come from the Covid capital Wuhan, and the out-of-hand sale of bikes is suspended for the foreseeable future.

Does anyone have one, or know of a corporate/NGO that has any lying around that they are prepared to part with?  I will donate the value of a new bike to Qubeka to get my hands on one.

Any suggestions welcome

I also tried to get one in June and they told me they would have demo stock soon and they'd let me know, they haven't yet.

In same boat now

So you can only buy 10 at a time and cost is

Multiples of 10 only. R4950.00 each including VAT. Incudes Bicycle plus accessories (helmet, pump, cable lock, tools spare tube, spare brake blocks, puncture repair kit). ExWorks Qhubeka facility Douglasdale Johannesburg.

seems the charity has gone out and now become more commercial.

Why not sell individual bikes.
