Thaba trails has some awesome trails as well, and if you are willing to travel a bit further, then Hennops and Buffelsdrift are also really nice, Buffelsdrift also has some proper dedicated Enduro lines

It's an incredibly beautiful part of the country and I've only heard great things about the trails. Only hiked there in the past.

I know you okes are all hella enduro, but the road riding around that area is also next level. The passes in and around Merry pebbles/Pilgrims rest etc are phenominal. You definitely won't go wrong on a boys week away in Mpumalanga if it involves bikes (all types), camping and hiking shoes.

Font memories of those passes on the Harley and in car with top down and the gearbox set to the paddle shifts. From Sabie there is a section called "The 22". Those who know, know.
Chadvdw67 Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 My Dad, Sister and I went to Sabie for a weekend when I was still like 15 or 16, we trailered 2 dirt bikes down and my SV1000, and spent 3 days messing around on the dirt bikes in forests and riding from Sabie to Whiteriver, Graskop and Pilgrims, was a good weekend, on the day we left my Dad let me ride the SV from Sabie to Lydenburg, that was one of the highlights, 15-16year old kid riding solo up that pass ???????? obviously had to restrain myself because my Dad was driving behind me but still, it was AMAZING, love that part of the country, but it's just not the same driving through there with a DC Bakkie now

Chances are that its me!! Normally extremely early on a sun morn.
