Ok, so this is a 3 question post. 

 

I have read some feedback on the forum and it seems except for the Holdfast racks being seen as the ugly duckling there is no complaints in terms of quality and it not working as intended? Yes I know it is not a Thule. 

 

Second question, any other reasonably priced tow bar bike racks I can consider for an e-bike and normal mtb that will not break the bank?

 

Third question, does anyone know of a shop in Gauteng that has the below rack in stock?

I currently have a Buzz Rack and now found this one, there is apparently one at Cyclelab Boksburg. 

 

This one does look more sturdy / rugged than the Holdfast, and my current Buzzrack has only been good to me. 

 

The below one has tilt, which is important for me as well.

User error did not click into place and did not check before driving off from the petrol station got stopped by the cops 100km later

Happens SO quickly !!!

 

 

I used to tilt it up, but not click ... fit bikes, tilt, put stuff in car, tilt up ...

 

Twice I forgot to "click" it in ... thankfully both times I saw it tilt down, and did not have any damage ...

 

 

Since then .... tilt up, CLICK IN !!
