Good afternoon techie Hubbers,

 

Taking inspiration from some videos I've recently watched on the TR YT channel, I dusted off my old(er) "action" camera, and strapped it to my bike before yesterday's Crit Crusher in Benoni. Now that I have the video files and the GPX/TCX/FIT file from my Garmin device, I spent the most of yesterday trying to the get the POWER data to read, but with little success.

 

Who has experience with Dashware? Am I using the incorrect format?

I have managed to get some speed and HR data on a Video, I think GPX worked.

Try using free Garmin VIRB Edit, import your movie, import your Garmin files, synchronise,fiddle fiddle, choose your gauges...export...

Wasn't too difficult - especially with YT to assist for some tutorials.

Getting this error when I try to Create a Video. Any idea what the error may mean?

Try converting your raw video file into another format, eg. mp4, and also make sure there is audio too.

It's been nearly 4 years since I last used it, so can't offer more assistance.
