It’s my second home. If I am not at home or at work, I am usually there, and about 4 times a week. Sometimes I take a break and ride at other sites, but Giba will always be home to me. The staff are really doing a great job keeping the trails great. Also they do bring in new trails, like Flow trail, and the trail called “Ruff”. If new to the park try get a local to take you out as they can show you the unmarked trails.

Used to be my second home from 2008 (when I started mtb'ing), up until around 2012. Thereafter, I still visited the park from time to time. Nowadays, the Mrs and I go for walks there with our daughter on occasion.

I sold my last mtb in July last year, and I wish I didn't.

Who here did the Compendium MTB Derby a few years ago?

If I remember correctly, we rode through Giba as part of the route. Not even sure if Giba is still part of the route or if there is still a Compendium MTB Derby.

So blessed to get to call it my training ground. So many different trails to choose from.

Which routes do you train on? green, blue, or purple?

It's come a long way over the years. From humble beginnings to an Afro's Chicken Shop with kick ass coffee.

How busy is Giba over the weekends these days?

Mix of all the routes pretty much, don't ever just stick on one route.
