I know this is a bike thread but wondering if anyone knew of a place in Joburg where you can get Garmin battery replacements? Specifically for a Garmin Fenix 3 (Not the HR). There are plenty of online tutorials but I'm hesitant to screw it up and not even sure where I'll get a battery. The watch is about 5 years old and the battery life is down to around 5 hours (from 12/13hours). As I'm not going to finish comrades in 5 hours I am hoping to be able to replace it hahaha. I know its an old watch but I also dont have the money to upgrade.

You`ll have to take hack it. Garmin does not replace batteries.

Experienced the same, watch was sent in, received a quote for a new unit, that only carries a 6 months warranty and now no longer charge.
