-cK- Posted January 11, 2023 Share https://www.geyserwiseonline.com/RemoteManager/Login.aspx Frosty is this what you found and referring to because the one I found a while back was was an actual demo of the online interface. Can't seem to find that anymore Edit: Found the demo login details here for above site and some discussion about that and Home Assistant integration. https://community.home-assistant.io/t/geyserwise-wifi-module-integration-request/305103 Edited January 11, 2023 by -cK-
Frosty Posted January 11, 2023 Share Post your control units here, and I will send them all together in one email back to Nicolene (she replied asking for a photo to confirm if it’s compatible). Then based on her response, I will post back here.

-cK- Posted January 11, 2023 Share Have a look here, just skimped through it but kinda confirms my suspicion they are now using Tuya and what is needed to integrate it into Home-Assistant it seems. Will have a proper look at it when at home https://community.home-assistant.io/t/geyserwise-wifi-module-integration-request/305103/

Maybe they have a wireless module that connect to this ? 🤷♂️ Frosty

Eddy Gordo Posted January 11, 2023 Share Back in the day we had a gas geyser. Water is almost instantly hot. I really like this setup considering everything else. We now have solar for a good few years. Solar works great in summer, in winter you need eskom. This is the drawback for me. Hence why I like the gas option. Then my wifes cousin sells and installs insta hot systems. He reckons the unit uses far less electric than a std geyser.
-cK- Posted January 11, 2023 Share Just a quick note to add after a quick read from the home assistant link. It looks like you need to replace the wifi chip if you want an open API to use home assistant with it otherwise if you are happy to go via the cloud platform of Tuya it won't be needed. Obliviously this applies to the compatible head units. Edited January 11, 2023 by -cK-

I could be wrong, need to see what my old unit is, but I seem to recall the TSE was the original time and temp controller.

Here’s the response from GeyserWise: Hi G You can replace the display PCB and then connect it to the Tuya Application. The MPPT controller that feed the dual element in geyser is in the roof next to the geyser. I know since my first MPPT needed to be replaced under warranty because it popped. Edit: The geyserwise display unit only show the geyser temp and switch Eskom on or off depending on the temps & times programmed. The solar on the geyser is "always on" and completely separate from the rest. It stop pushing power to the geyser when the temp hit 75 deg.
