1999 Cannondale CAAD 2 value?

I am potentially selling a spotless Cannondale CAAD 2 and want some input on value please. Bike was bought new in 1999 and was never ridden. 
Comes with Shimano Nexave groupset. 
Looking for an estimate value please.

I'm mostly ill-informed but I've seen similar age models go for R2-3k. They weren't spotless like yours.

Use value......not much.....you are going to mission around for chains, stem, wheels, tyres, should anything break or wear.

So value would be mostly because of sentiment.  Someone that will want it or desire it or hang it on a wall or such.

I paid R4k for a CAAD4, working well on the indoor trainer

That Geo is all the rage now except we call them gravel bikes and spend a fortune on them 

looks lovely and maybe to the right guy, 4K but probably a lot less. If it’s in the way sell it but otherwise keep it

The one place NOT to come for a value estimation on a 26' bike is the Hub...

Only my opinion but R4K is way to low for your bike.

Rather keep it till the right buyer approach you on one of your coffee rides with it 🙃
