I humbly apologise for my inferior intellect, and obvious lack of knowledge as far as cycling related matters is concerned.

May I, O ye of superior knowledge, be granted the permission to continue posting on this Forum? I wil endeavour to keep my postings to such matters as I'm qualified to.

I can just imagine how that " get my children to stop picking their noses" episode went down...   LOL

Wink  That's different... you expect and deal with two year old behaviour from a two year old... If someone is sentient enough to post drivel on the net, you expect them not to be two year olds...

Yes, but only if you promise to keep your current name (ie, not change it to BIG wHanabe, and change it later back to just wanabe), and not announce that you are leaving for good, but later make a comeback by analysing all the comments we made about your inferior intellect.

But both is the same as in doing it enough times, it becomes second nature...    LOL

It takes enormous speed, or speed and a bit of luck to win a stage from a field sprint.

RH had a bit of luck last year, it can happen again. There is still a couple of flat stages, lets wait & see.

The competition also got harder this year with new sprinters like Cavendish & Ciolek added to the fray. The fact that they ride for the same team makes a formiddable combination. (I would have liked to see a couple of Cavendish vs Boonen sprints)

Just to rattle a couple of cagesWinkWinkLOLLOL.

So guys, what does the GC says, who finished in front of who?

Was waiting to see when RH is going to get out of the autobus and onto his bike, but alas, that didn't happenWink

You just really absolutely do NOT have any idea of how racing works... at all....Confused

Nah, I just get on my bike and ride, as fast as I can, to the finishline. No tactics or teams involved.Big%20smileLOL

OK, let me spell it out to you. I (and I think a lot of other people) expected a lot more from RH this year. For whatever reasons (mostly out of his control) he did not produce, and failed to get even close to his scintilating form of last year. DO NOT try and convince me otherwise, as I'm sure RH expected a better result from himself, and surely is disapointed. DO NOT tell me he will be happy/satisfied with his performance/result.

JLA surprised everyone, took the chance offered to him and rode his heart out.

Cudos to the remaining BW riders, they sure had it difficult, and did what they could, but must be terribly disapointed with overall results.

But, yeah, I'm no Team Owner (although I am a qualified Team Manager, did the CSA courseWink). So I guess you are right, I have no idea how racing works, but at least I have a sense of humour, and the good insight to know when someone is taking the Mickey.

I would think that RH was marked by the other sprinters this year; as he surprised most sprinters last year ... secondly his wife gave birth just before the tour started ....thirdly he is a SPRINTER!!! and I do believe that all the other sprinters have lifted their game for the tour ... common not even Robbie Mc Ewen could do anything, even Thor Hushovd did not feature as much as he did last year......

Check Mark Cavindish next year .. I am sure he will be a marked man by the sprinters ....
