pyga tig xc version weighed in at 13.8kg.

Thats with slime, bottle cages, garmin mount etc still on the bike.

Only place I can see saving some weight would be the rear shock and removing the dropper post.

There is almost always saving on wheels and tires...... carbon chord 1 piece spoke laced to hookless carbon rims with Maxxis Aspens..... That's like 2kg right there

Was thinking of this thread yesterday when at Trailerseeker #5 Van Gaalen.

1, 2, 3 and 10th place finishers all on Pygas and having done the Half Marathon and nearly dying a million times I can’t imagine those okes climbed slowly or with difficulty on their Pygas during the Marathon 😂

So this is my Tig, built as a kind of mini Enduro bike, piggy back shock, could maybe have gone for a 150mm Lyrik to make it even more burly, but the 140mm Pike is great for my needs, full SLX drivetrain, 4piston caliper in front, 2 piston on the back, carbon wheel with heavyish tyres and an insert in the rear, comes in at 15.05kg, and there is a fair bit of weight to be saved just on the tyres, it is MUCH faster on the climbs and flats than my Hyrax/Slakline was, and has even gottem me a number of PB's on the downs at my local trails, absolutely love this bike.

SID Fork, SID Shock and XC tyres, I am pretty sure could save me close to 2kg, maybe even more, for the XC guise
