That jump on Welvergenoeg a bit after the A-Frame has claimed many guys over the years (including myself). It can easily push you to the left and off the trail down a 3/4m drop if you not careful. Looked like a few guys came short there again today.

I was blasting around Bloemendal for a quick spin on dirt and saw the EMS helivac come speeding low overhead and had that sinking feeling that it was heading to Hoogekraal. It seems I was correct?
