Some Matte paints have weird reactions with sealant. Sometimes the sealant grips to the paint quite tenaciously. It comes off but elbow grease and hand sanitizer has worked well for me

Both my bikes are Matt Black. One is a Supersix without clear coat so it sticks like barnacles ...

Orange Seal peels off very easily with your finger

Right on cue I had a puncture today and got sealant all over the rear of the bike. This is how easy it was to remove.

You are NOT doing this with Stans!

Enduroseal rolls off exactly the same ... IF there is some protection/polish on the frame.

Whole different level of elbow grease when it dries on a spot whithout polish

Sooo.... Not the same!

You have to make sure all parts of your frame, derailleur, saddle bag etc are all polished. Why make your life so difficult

Don't be so dramatic. It washes right off with a bit of soap and warm water and your bike gets a nice polish to boot.

As NC-Lurker attests< I have washed it of at a Astron Energy Service station with a R5-00 bucket of windscreen wash and a squeee-Geeee.

On a matte frame it depends on the degree of matte (surface roughness) and  type of paint.

The stubborn bits can be removed with a piece of pure latex rubber - an old school pencil eraser should work - just make sure its pure rubber. I have seen people remove clumps of stuff from inside their tires where nothing else worked.
