1x12 MTB chain (Ltwoo equipped Avalanche needs a new chain)

Advice on replacing my AVALANCHE Ltwoo AX 1x12 MTB chain - they reckon Shimano is a good option, but there are several different options. Which would be the most suitable?

I'd go for a KMC 12 speed chain. Great quality for a bit less money

Tks, do they sell them with a standard amount of links?

They come in 126 links from what I can recall, so will likely need to be cut to the correct length

KMC chains have served me WELL 

 

Best to check the number of links.

 

Shimano has both 116 and 126 link chains .... 116 is too SHORT for my bikes ... learnt that the expensive way.

 

I have only seen a standard size KMC at our local bike shops, think it is the 126 or longer.

Shimano makes 138 link chains too. Handy for high pivot bikes that usually need 1 chain plus then some😅

@MORNE Well, my rear derailleur isn't the prettiest of set ups to be honest as it's not nip and tuck and it's got a lazy swingarm look about it 🤣🤣, if that counts as a high pivot (seen here with a 36t chainring)
