Mmmh and I thought the tracers were rock solid. I’m yet to puncture one but don’t have a lot of miles on them either

Surely whatever punctured the tyre while tubeless will puncture the tube when you inflate it? Seems like a dumb idea or not thought thru properly. Even plugs in the tyre could puncture the tube.

Also if the plug couldn't fix it then surely the tire is destroyed as well i.e. cuts or holes and the tube will be exposed if no gaiter is fitted? Either we are missing something or not a well thought out idea.

Maybe he only thought of this after he drilled the second valve hole through the carbon rim and decided to continue any way 🙃
