7-speed cluster ?

Sadly see this all too often.

Really should not see it on a decent cassette.

@cadenceblur @Mike Dewing thank you guys. so my friend advised my that it was the shaft that was bent from jumping the bicycle between driveways. i took it out and the shaft was indeed bent.

That sounds about right☠️🤣

o i rode it once i got it back from it being serviced. but for some reason i wasnt feeling safe doing things i did before i had to get it serviced. mainly riding on the road down a hill going as fast as possible without intent of applying brakes going into a corner. but i didnt fall from doing stupid hit like that only down a hill once with wet roads applying brakes. and then one day i was  riding at speed over uneven paving which i usually mastered but not on that day. since then i never rode it again

Definitively not, take it back to the shop. Lock ring not tightened and / or a spacer is missing .

This comment should be edited asap…it gives away either your age or your experience working on bicycles😁😅

neither of those things are present on a cluster…since this is not a cassette hehe.

Also, @Pieter De Klerk, this looks excessive but ive never seen one of these cheap shimano ones without a slight wobble out the box.
They are like R150-200. I had the exact one on a vintage bike, although 6 speed and that one also had a slight wobble. That was on a roadie…which i doubt someone jumped between driveways lol. It worked fine for years.
