Hi Steve,

When making a Bike Hub Pay offer, no personal details are shared.Β The seller will see your username, which may or may not be personal. Depending on the chosen delivery method, limited location information (such as town and province) may be visible to help both parties estimate shipping costs.

Once the offer is accepted and the deal is confirmed, additional details (such as name and phone numbers) are shared so that both parties can finalise the transaction with each other.

If I make an offer at the sellers asking price is the seller obliged to accept my offer?

No, because maybe he sold it on a different platform and forgot to remove it here.

ummm, please keep us informed how the process is going, this is intriguing.Β  Because now I google ******** and #1 return was a founder of a large property company.

(If that's the case, then you're a successful guy and the seller should definitely shift the goalposts with a such a big fish on the line).
