Hi all!

Any hubbers doing the inaugural Garden Route Giro next month? I've got an entry, but haven't received much communication from the organizers so hoping this still goes ahead.

Hi! The Garden Route Giro is definitely happening and we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone next month. We’ve been sending out regular newsletters to all entered riders with event updates, so please check your inbox (and spam/junk folder just in case).

If you haven’t received anything, feel free to send us a message and we’ll make sure all your details are correct. See you on the start line!

Thanks, I checked. Nothing in my inbox that seems rider specific, only about entering the event. I'll send a message with my details.

We are happy with the current numbers and entries are still coming in. Entries will close on 27 March. Is there any logistics we can assist you with?

Looks like the start of the event has changed from Salt & Copper to Jakkalsvlei? And seems some of the stages have been shortened a bit. The queen stage is 127km instead of 167km. So total distance of the has gone from 684km to 570km.

I’m also curious to see how this plays out. In comparison to Gravel burn, the stages on the GRG are longer with more elevation so hopefully the terrain is not as rof as Gravel Burn.
