If im around that weekend il definatly be racing full way, yes will leave with you clowns. Dont want carbon frame just yet, to expensive and 1st want to get into road riding properly before i switch. Remember, im a mountainbiker at heart and carbon would never be my number 1 choice for a frame. But im getting there. Looking at a carbon giant frame at the moment so the change could be soon but as i said before, not wasting on what i dont need

The total cost was +- R12000

Not to shabby

So still some impressive kit on its way! Bike as it stands here now is 8.3kgs. When im done will be around 7.8kgs or so im hoping. But then when i get some more money il be getting Easton carbon bars' date=' stem, seatpost aswell. Then maybe a set of deepsection wheels at a later stage

Wow, I have that exact same Raleigh frame in original 9-speed 105 guise and it pulls the scale to a whopping 9,5kg's without pedals!

So it shows you that the frame is clearly not the heaviest part!

Havnt got that far yet, as i said, its not 100% done yet so still deciding on what paint job to use anyway, not a n easy choice. Might just get a Giant or Merida carbon frame anyway
