Evan Andreou Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 Cytomax, tastes good and doesn't mess with my sugar levels.Prefer High5 gels though, apple flavourwolverine2008-08-21 04:34:21
oclv110 Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 Cytomax.Because it tastes good. For recovery, Supermoo or Super M chocolate flavour. Pre race meal - Pronutro, lots of milk.
Alida Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 Erythropoietin seems to work really well.   I'm sure it does. I use Cytomax (pre, during and post) - its the only supplement that I have used (and I've used all in your list) that didn't leave me feeling hungry 45 mins into the ride and also the only one that I felt sustained me for the full duration of the ride. Tastes nice too.

Evan Andreou Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 Best post race drink - Choc shake from Steers
AndreZA Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 Energade. Pick 'n Pay has a special on them again at R18 for 1l concentrate = R3.60 a litre. Â
Spaceboy Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 The Energy Dynamics products are all now PVM branded. The new Octane with 10% protein peptides is awesome stuff, and tastes good.
markStockton Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 Why isn't Pilsner Urquel on the list. The mere thought of a cold one has got me to the end of a lot of long tough races lately. Â
