New Years Day - Hard Core Ride

Thug

Recommended Posts

Ok, well last year we started the tradition of a New Years day hard core ride i.e. > 160k's

So this year we are thinking about a ride from Rosebank to the South, a loop around Sugarbush and back. Anyone hardcore enough to join us ?

So who is in ? It will probably be a loop out south that includes a lap of Suikerbosrand. Will Suikerbosrand be open ?

Distance wise it's probably around 140 - 160k's

Ave speed in the region of 27 kph (excl stops)

There will be stops at Circus if open or garages for cooldrinks.

Probably a full lap of reserve depending on route choice.

How much moolah to bring ? Eish - R100 should be ample unless you want to buy us all breakfast Big%20smile

Somehow I doubt the distance... I'm thinking more like 180km... Shocked

Shew, that a long way to ride, especially since I have hardly ridden for the last 3 months...
